Joining Farley for Currently March 2013

I look forward to joining Farley at Oh Boy 4th Grade each month.  Here's mine for March:

I am listening to coffee brewing.  It's early Saturday morning and I got up just to have some quiet time to myself.
I am loving that I'm still in my PJs.  No need to rush off anywhere.
I am thinking about the local Jazz Festival where my stepdaughter is singing a solo.  It's a fun community event.  Last year I saw my former Jazz Choir director there.
I am wanting a three day weekend.  I am just feeling so behind.
I am needing to do laundry...I don't need to elaborate.
I like M&Ms -- especially the dark chocolate ones.  I love music.  I hate miscommunication, because of how much time it takes to fix.

Happy March!  If you stop by, leave me a comment so I can visit you too.

  1. WOW, a jazz solo that is impressive! I love music and I am sure that you are so proud of your stepdaughter. I hope that you enjoy the show and get your three-day weekend/spring break soon!

  2. Is there anything better than the sound of brewing coffee? Maybe the smell. Good luck to your stepdaughter at the festival. It sounds like a wonderful community event.

  3. WA state! I lived there before I moved to TX. Steilacoom. Good times. :) And m&ms. And PJs. No 3 day weekends but spring break is the second full week in March. Get through Seuss week to get there. Time with nieces! Then after spring break? BOOKFAIR. Will try to remember how much the kids love it. Tired just thinking about it.

    1. I love book fairs. Fortunately we have some great parents who do the work.

  4. I am still in my pjs, too, and it's almost noon! Ha! We lost our last 3 day weekend to a make-up day, so I hear ya on that one! Happy Saturday!

  5. Sigh...I was up early today working on my to-do list! I wish I was still in my pj's. I'm stealing a few minute of blog-reading time in between laundry loads. :) I popped over from the Currently link-up. Glad to have found you!

    1. The PJs didn't last forever. I was out of the house by 9.
