Tango: The Tale of an Island Dog by Eileen Beha

 

I have never really liked books where animals take on human characteristics, but I enjoyed Tango: The Tale of An Island Dog by Eileen Beha. Tango belongs to a wealthy actress, but he is shipwrecked on an island where humans and animals alike are trying to find belonging.


I have several students who love animals and I recommend this book to them.
