February 2015 Currently

It's still January here near Seattle, but I know it's February on the East Coast.  Time for February Currently at Oh Boy 4th Grade.

Currently I'm listening to Chris Tomlin singing, "Lord, I Need You" on a loop.  Let's just say it was a tough week.

I'm loving that my report cards are almost done.

I'm thinking that I need to go to bed soon.

I want the cat to leave me alone a little longer.  She likes to sit on my shoulder when I'm blogging and block the screen.  Now she's giving me her back.

I need to get some lesson planning done...tomorrow.

If I had a pageant title, it would be Queen of Comedy.  I love to laugh and spread laughter.  When I'm upset about something, if I can find the humor in the situation, I feel better.  I laughed a lot this week.

  1. Report card time always sneaks up on me! We need to get our progress reports done this upcoming week and reports cards are due in about a month. Report cards are at least generated electronically from our grade books, but report cards are always a pain because you have to write in all the info yourself.

I love that you find humor in everything. Friends like that help me so much! Especially wen things are rough :-)

    1. One of my students last year told an intern that to be a successful teacher, she needed a sense of humor like Mrs. Bauer. I took it as a compliment.

      Thanks for stopping by.

  2. Hey I found you at Farley's! I have a cat that likes to sit on my lap as soon as I have sat down to work on anything! We have just started back at school here in Australia so report cards are a long way off, best of luck finishing off completely.

    1. Cats are funny that way. When I want her attention she ignores me.

      Have a great school year!

  3. Can you believe it is February already?! I also need to get some planning done, but I am praying for a snow day tomorrow! :)

    1. I would love just one snow day this month. It's too warm here for that.
