I am linking up with Swimming Into Second to share my favorite books for boys. My girls read many of these titles, but I am constantly on the look out for books that will interest my boys. Here are my favorites:
Nathaniel Fludd, Beastologist by R. L. LaFevers -- Nathaniel Fludd discovers his family takes care of mythological creatures.
Diary of a Wimpy Kid by Jeff Kinney -- I like the books better than the movies.
Melvin Beederman Superhero Series by Greg Trine --comic book characters for the elementary set

Thank you for introducing me to some new books! I haven't heard of some of these. The Dragonbreath books look fun!

Thanks for stopping by. Keep in mind that the Dragonbreath books weren't written for us. :)
DeleteThanks for linking up Mary! I didn't know these books either so thanks for sharing!

You are welcome. This has been a fun linky for me. I love discovering new books.
DeleteI've debated buying the Dragonbreath books, I might just have to cave in and finally buy them!
ReplyDeleteSimply Second
I think they were written specifically for 7-9 year-old boys.
DeleteDragonbreath and Melvin Beederman! I forgot about those.
ReplyDeleteThis linky would be much easier if I was at school. Trying to picture all the shelves in my head. I know exactly where to walk and pick one up when I've got a kid at my side.
Alvin Ho makes me laugh. Justin Case (Rachel Vail) is kind of like him.
I just learned about Justin Case through this linky.
DeleteI was able to write this, because I do so many book reviews on this blog. I keep thinking about other books that fit this category and I might need to update or post part 2.
