It's Currently July 2015

It's time for Currently July 2015.  I love this blogging party.  I also find a blog or two that I hadn't read before.


Currently, I'm listening to construction.  I live on what used to be a small, quiet street.  Our city thinks we need a new semi-permeable sidewalk.  They have been working on it since last summer with a break for winter weather.  I am so done with construction.

I love that my class starts today.  I have decided to take an accounting class online and I need to log in and start today. When I was in middle school I worried that I couldn't get my locker to work and I would be late to class.  Now that I'm in college again, I worry that my username and password won't work and I will be late to class.

I'm thinking about changing the name of my Teachers Pay Teachers store to Artistry of Education.  I can't think of any downside to this.  Any thoughts?

I really want rain.  June was the hottest on record here in Seattle.  My garden is so dry.

I have quite the to do list for today and I need to get going.

I think I'm an all-star at listening.  People tell me all sorts of things they wouldn't tell others.  I love to hear about other people's journeys and I don't share what's not my news to share.

Currently May 2015

Hello, it's May and Oh Boy Fourth Grade posted Currently May late last night.  Join her for the blog party.


 

I'm excited to have my stepdaughter move home today.  I feel like I have such a long to do list this weekend.  We have six and a half weeks left of school.  (It's been one of those years, so I'm ready to be done.)

 

Here are my summer plans, hopes and dreams.  I definitely plan to attend my family reunion this summer.  I missed last summer, so I'm itching to catch up with everyone.

I need to get creative with some summer income.  College tuition is expensive.  It would be great if I could write something amazing that resonated with others.

January 2015 -- It's Time for Currently

It's time for Currently January 2015.  I have been thoroughly enjoying some time off, because my brother and his family are here from North Carolina.  I need another week to catch up on chores.

I have had an idea for a book series for several years now.  I should start writing some scenes and see what happens.

Currently October -- with 2 October Treats

It's Currently October with Farley at Oh Boy 4th Grade.  I'm a little late this month to the party.



I'm listening to Thursday Night Football.  My husband is watching while I sit on the couch next to him and try to get some projects done.

I'm loving the quiet evening at home.  (It hasn't been very quiet lately.)

I'm thinking about the projects that need doing. 

I want a three day weekend.  I need more sleep.

Currently April -- No Fooling

 



April 1 has turned out to be a busy day.  I launched a Poetry Challenge for students and I started one for adults.  It was April Fool's Day today and my students and I so need a spring break.  I completely forgot to look out for Currently April.  Better late than never.

I'm listening/watching an episode of Castle.  I love the show, in fact I love most mysteries.

I'm loving that the sun is finally out.  We have had more than our usually share of rain here in the Seattle area.  It's time to dry out.

I'm thinking about spring vacation next week.  Anyone who teaches knows what I am talking about.

I want to stay home tonight, but I will go to the Beth Moore study at church.  It's always good when I get there.

I need more sleep tonight.  I was out later than usual last night and had trouble falling and staying asleep.  I hope tonight will be better.

My contracted hours are 8:30-4:00.  The students are there 9:00-3:30.

Our last day of school is June 18.

I'm listening to giggling in the room next door.  My senior in high school has a friend over.

I'm loving that my errands are done for the day.

I need to plan some meals for the week.

I want a three day weekend to catch up on house things.

I need to get over this cold.

Life on the Bowery is the answer.  What is my question?
